In the organization of the Association of War Veterans and Veterans of the Homeland War of Jarmin, the Veterans' Day of the municipality of Jarmin was celebrated with a solemn parade, honoring all the dead, missing and deceased Croatian war veterans and a holy mass in the church of St. Vendelin the Abbot.

President of the Association and municipal mayor Goran Ileković he appropriately greeted all the guests, and in his speech he emphasized the importance of veterans who are the basis of the creation of an independent and independent Croatia."With faith in God, spirit and togetherness, we stopped a far superior enemy and we can say that we Croats are a nation of great heart, spirit, honor and pride. It is our duty to preserve the truth about the Homeland War, and in order to preserve it, we must pass it on to future generations, our children and our grandchildren.", said Chief Ileković.

The representative of the prefect also addressed the gathered Vukovarsko-srijem county Damir Dujić saying that the County, with the members of the Council of Prefects for Veterans, works on the care and treatment of Croatian veterans, but also cooperates with associations and coordination of veterans' suffering associations, all with the aim of implementing numerous projects.
